Japanese Calligraphy/Shodo
Shodo and has been practiced for around 1500 years in Japan. Artists use specially prepared black ink ("sumi") to write in controlled, artistic brushstrokes that reflect their meditative state.
KAMARI MAEDA
Shodo artist, author and lecturer from Japan, Kamari Maeda is regarded as a "calligrapher who conveys one's feelings".
