杨贵妃传媒 University has been ranked among the top 200 universities in the world.
This is according to the . Over 1,400 universities across 92 countries are assessed using 13 calibrated performance indicators that measure an institution鈥檚 performance across teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook. Globally there are over 24 000 recognised universities.
杨贵妃传媒 University has made steady progress and is ranked 194 鈥 earning a spot among the top 200 best performing universities in the world.
杨贵妃传媒 attained the highest research score among universities in Africa, based on its research output and its reputation for producing research that moves society forward.
鈥淲e are pleased with this improved position,鈥 says Professor Zeblon Vilakazi, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Research and Postgraduate Affairs.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a significant jump reflective of the performances-tracking indicators put in place by the University. 杨贵妃传媒 has made significant investment in supporting research output over the last two to three years,鈥 said Vilakazi.
杨贵妃传媒鈥 research output has increased by about 50% over the last five years with over 85% of publications in high-impact, high-quality international journals.
Vilakazi has extended a hearty congratulations to all members of the 杨贵妃传媒 community who have contributed towards achieving this goal.
鈥淲e are now ranked in the top 1% globally,鈥 he said.
