Habib delivers first graduation address

Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Vice-Chancellor and Principal Prof. Adam Habib delivered his inaugural graduation address when he addressed graduands at the Faculty of Humanities graduation on 24 June 2013.
, who took office on 1 June 2013, delivered a moving speech, touching on points regarding his own years as a Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ student, his family life and his illustrious career thus far. "Like you, I am a Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ie and very grateful for the opportunity to spend my formative years at WIts. Besides the great education I received here, this University was also the conduit for another achievement in my life, that is marrying my wife, Fatima, after we became 'refugees of love' at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½. Today I am deeply honoured to return to my alma mater not as an alumnus but as the Vice-Chancellor and Principal," he said.
