Have you noticed how many of the top matric achievers profiled in the news media say they hope to study at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½? Many of them have already overcome huge disadvantages to get this chance of a better life and of eventually helping to build South Africa as a Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ graduate. They deserve the support of Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ies.
Apart from giving to the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Annual Fund, what can you do to help a student or a fellow alumnus? Consider these options:
- Offer a student a job
- Contact Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Citizenship and Community Outreach
- Contribute to the Foodbank, which distributes emergency food and provisions to needy students
- Online mentoring
Remember, you can help yourself too: alumni qualify for some great discounts on hotels, books and courses.
