Professor Osman Sankoh
Prof. Osman Sankoh, DSc, COR, is the Statistician-General of Statistics Sierra Leone, a Mercatur Fellow in the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health at Heidelberg Medical University, the Vice-Chair of the United Nations Statistical Commission, and an honorary professor at the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ School of Public Health.
He has, amongst other positions, served as Executive Director of the INDEPTH Network of Health and Demographic Surveillance System (HDSS) field sites in low- and middle-income countries, and as Acting Vice-Chancellor & Principal of Njala University in Sierra Leone.
