Arts Research Africa (ARA) is a project where we collectively explore and define Artistic Research in Africa. The project, based in the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ School of Arts, is supported by the Mellon Foundation.
Launched in 2017, the project enables artists' residencies; postdoctoral fellowships; symposia and colloquia; staff and postgraduate research grants; publications; and a podcast series. All aspects of the project can be explored thorough the pages below.
