Dr Koetsie completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery before completing her specialist training in Ophthalmology at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ and receiving her Fellowship in Ophthalmology from the Colleges of Medicine and Surgery of South Africa. She is currently employed as a head of clinical unit at St John Eye Hospital, Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital. Areas of interest include orbital and oculo-plastic surgery.
