Urology

The Division of Urology at the University of the Witwatersrand has an active presence within the 6 major circuit hospitals in Johannesburg and Gauteng:

  • Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital (CMJAH),
  • Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital (CHBAH),
  • Helen Joseph Hospital (HJH) and Rahima Moosa Mother & Child Hospital (RMMCH),
  • Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital (TMRH) and
  • The Klerksdorp/ Tshepong Hospital (KTH).

Academic Programmes

Our Division has a continuous active 2 week GEMP III undergraduate programme with the Mixed II Block rotation. The postgraduate training programme consists of four years of rotational academic and clinical registrar training which includes an active MMed research programme within the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ circuit hospitals.
