Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Sports Clinic

The Sports Clinic at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ operates within the School of Therapeutic Sciences and is part of Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Institute of Sports and Health (WISH). It is located at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Education Campus (Impilo block), Parktown. The clinic provides a high standard of medical and rehabilitation services to all athletes and the general public with musculoskeletal and other related conditions. Service providers include: sports and exercise physician, physiotherapist, biokineticist, optometrist, massage therapist, dietician and podiatrist.

The practice is opened for consultations on Monday - Friday between 08:00 - 17:00. Special appointments can also be made for clients on weekends.

Mission statement

The Sports Clinic at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ provides professional and excellent interdisciplinary clinical service open for anyone with sports related conditions. Service providers use evidence-based strategies to assess, prevent, treat and rehabilitate injuries. We ensure that our services are affordable, accessible, available to all athletes and the general population.

Medical Services Sports physician will provide assessment and treatment that is patient-centred and focus on maximising participation in sports and recreational activities.
Physiotherapy The clinic provide services offered by a qualified sports physiotherapist (medical aid fees apply) and services offered by physiotherapy students (reduced rates: R100 first session & R75 follow up session).
Biokinetics A biokineticist will determine your physical condition through various laboratory testing and also help if you want to improve your health condition.
